1. Who we are
45 (Forty Five) is a tennis membership app operated by the team behind Padel Match DXB, from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this policy, “we” and “45” mean the operator of the service, and “you” means an applicant or member.

2. 45 and Padel Match DXB are separate
45 keeps its own accounts, its own database and its own storage. Being a Padel Match DXB member does not create a 45 account, and your Padel Match DXB information is not copied into 45. If you join both, you are two separate members, and you can leave either one on its own.
3. What we collect
Your membership. Your name, email address, home city and country, time zone, tennis level, whether you play singles or doubles, and anything you add when you apply.
Your profile. Your photograph, how you like to play, preferred surfaces, courts and times, years playing, travel availability, tournament interests, any rating you report, your biography, and professional details such as profession, role, company, industry and a LinkedIn address if you choose to add one. Coaches may add qualifications, languages, levels coached, venues and indicative rates.
What you do in 45. Matches you host or join, requests to play, trips, circle memberships, event interest, notes you leave on courts, messages you send and receive, reports you make and members you block.
Your device. If you allow notifications, a notification token for that device. We do not collect your precise location, your contacts, advertising identifiers or your browsing, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.
4. How we use it
We use this information to review applications, run the service, show your profile and activity to the members allowed to see it, suggest matches and players that fit you, send the emails and notifications you expect, keep the community safe, answer your questions and meet our legal obligations.
Our legal bases are the contract between us, our legitimate interest in running a safe and reliable service, your consent where we ask for it, such as notifications, and compliance with law.
5. Who can see what
Approved members can see your name, photograph, role, home city and country, tennis details, coach details if you are listed as a coach, and any professional details you add. They can see the circles you share with them, not your other circles.
Matches and requests to play are visible to suitable members, or only to a circle when you choose one. Trips are visible to all members, to your circles, or only to you, as you decide. Messages are intended for the members in the conversation. We do not routinely access private messages. If another member reports conduct involving messages, or where we must comply with a legal obligation, we may access the relevant communications to understand the report or meet that obligation. Access is logged. A blocked member sees nothing of yours, and you see nothing of theirs.
Our administrators can see membership applications, reports and the information needed to act on them. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit trail.
6. Messages and photographs
Messages are encrypted before they are stored, and photographs are kept in private storage and shown to other members through short-lived links rather than public addresses. Messages are not end-to-end encrypted. If another member reports conduct involving messages, or where we must comply with a legal obligation, the relevant communications may be accessed for that limited purpose. We do not use private messages for advertising and we do not sell them to third parties.
7. Our providers
We use Supabase for the database, accounts, storage and server functions, Vercel for these web pages, Resend for email, and Apple's push notification service for notifications. Each processes information on our instructions. Some processing takes place outside the United Arab Emirates; where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information, and 45 carries no advertising.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your information while you are a member. Past matches, requests and trips are cleared out after about 400 days. Sign-in codes are deleted within a day. Applications that are not approved are removed after 30 days.
When you request account deletion, your access ends immediately and your profile is no longer available to other members. We normally complete deletion within 30 days and confirm when it is finished. If a member report involving your account is still under review, or particular records must be retained to meet a legal obligation, we may keep only the records reasonably needed for that matter for longer. The remaining account data is deleted when the request is completed.
9. Security
Information is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to member data is limited to the services and administrators that need it, and administrator access is logged. Sign-in uses a six-digit code sent to your email address, and a fresh code is required every 120 days.
10. Your rights and choices
You can edit your profile, change what you share, and initiate account deletion in the app at any time. Your access ends when you submit the request. We normally complete deletion within 30 days and will confirm when it is finished, subject to any limited retention needed for a member report or legal obligation. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to correct it, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. 11. Age
45 membership is available only to people aged 16 or over. We do not knowingly permit anyone under 16 to maintain a member account. A LinkedIn profile is optional and is not required for membership.
12. Changes to this policy
If we make a significant change, we will tell members in the app or by email before it takes effect.
